Terms of use
Last updated: 24 October 2026
These terms apply when you download or play Save the Fish (the "game") or visit savethefish.games. The game is made by Code4Ocean ("we"). By playing, you agree to these terms and to the rules of the store you got the game from (Google Play or the Apple App Store). If you do not agree, please do not use the game.
1. Your licence to play
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install the game on devices you own or control and to play it for your own non-commercial fun. You may not copy, sell, rent, reverse-engineer or modify the game, or use cheats, bots or hacks, except where the law lets you.
2. Virtual items
Coins, shells, corals, hints, skins and other items in the game are a licence to use them inside the game. They have no money value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred. We may change the game's balance, items and prices over time.
3. Purchases
Purchases are made through Google Play or the App Store and follow their payment and refund rules. To ask for a refund, use the store's refund process. Shell packs and snacks are used up when bought (consumable items), so they are not restored by the store on a new device; to keep your progress, use the game's cloud save.
4. Ads and rewards
The game shows ads. Some rewards are given for watching an ad; watching is optional, and a reward depends on the ad finishing. Ads are provided by third parties, and we are not responsible for their content or for products they promote. See the privacy policy.
5. Facts in the game
The ocean facts in the game and on this website come from the public sources named next to them. We do our best to keep them accurate, but they are for general education, not professional advice.
6. The game as it is
We work hard to make the game fun and stable, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or lost-data damages. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.
7. Changes and ending
We may update the game or these terms. If a change is important we will tell you in the game. We may stop offering the game; if we do, we will try to give notice. You can stop at any time by uninstalling the game.
