Support
Need help with Save the Fish, found a bug, or have an idea? Write to support@code4ocean.com. In the game you can also tap Settings → Feedback: the email opens with your game version and device already filled in, which helps us fix problems faster. We usually answer within a few days.
Common questions
I bought something but did not get it
Close and reopen the game with an internet connection: unfinished purchases are delivered on the next start. If it is still missing, email us with the order number from your store receipt.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by the store: on Android use Google Play's refund request, on iPhone and iPad use reportaproblem.apple.com.
How do I move my progress to a new phone?
In the game, open Settings, sign in to Google Play Games (Android) or Game Center (iPhone, iPad) and turn on Save to the cloud. On the new device, sign in with the same account and your progress comes back.
Why do I see ads?
Ads keep the game free. Any "Treat the dev" snack turns off the ads between levels. You can also turn off personalized ads in your device settings.
How to delete your data
We do not have user accounts, so most of your data lives on your phone. To delete it:
- On your device: uninstall the game, or clear its storage (Android: Settings → Apps → Save the Fish → Storage → Clear storage; iPhone: delete the app). This erases progress, settings and your age and consent answers. Settings → Clear data in the game resets progress only.
- Cloud save: in the game, Settings → Delete cloud save deletes the copy in your Google Play Games or Game Center account. You can also delete the game's data from the Play Games app settings, or from iCloud (Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Storage).
- Advertising ID: reset or delete it in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking). Events already linked to the old ID can no longer be tied to you.
- Ask us: email support@code4ocean.com with the subject "Delete my data". If you can, include your device's advertising ID. We will delete any feedback emails we have from you and ask Google (Firebase) and Meta to delete event data linked to the IDs you give us, within 30 days, and confirm by email.
